Facebook Connect is the next evolution of Facebook Platform - enabling you to integrate the power of Facebook Platform into your own site. Enable your users to...
* Seamlessly "connect" their Facebook account and information with your site
* Connect and find their friends who also use your site
* Share information and actions on your site with their friends on Facebook

- OR -

Communicate your ideas powerfully using Adobe® Acrobat® Connect™ Pro web conferencing software. Securely share presentations and multimedia right from your desktop, and get feedback from hundreds of participants — all using a web browser and the Adobe Flash® Player runtime, already installed on 98% of Internet-connected personal computers.

A.K.A umConnect. This used to be known as Macromedia Breeze Meeting.

- OR -

Google Friend Connect means more people engaging more deeply with your website -- and with each other.
* Enrich your site
Choose engaging social features from a catalog of gadgets by Google and the OpenSocial developer community.
* Attract more visitors
Your users can easily invite friends from social networks and contact lists to visit and join your site.
* No programming whatsoever
Just copy and paste a few snippets of code into your site, and Friend Connect does the rest.

This is an updated version of the XML video playlist player originally developed to work with Media Mill video podcasts. I've rewritten the display code that generates the thumbnail list and scroll bar to make it easier to create custom layouts for various content and delivery requirements.
The use of XML to build the playlist at runtime has a great advantage over creating a standalone player. The player can be installed in an online course or web page one time while the content can be managed and updated as often as is needed by media producers, instructors, and even students.
Watch for many exciting developments from Lance Cunningham, the Video Solutions Group, and members of the University Video User Community ( UVUC ) in 2009.

Created to showcase work by several dozen visual artists who teach for the CCE Split Rock Arts Program, the SRAP Gallery 2008 uses "shadowbox", an open source JavaScript media player, as the backend. The player, widely cross-browser and cross-platform compatible, can be used with many types of images, movies, and other media types. This version uses the Yahoo API but it is compatible with several other flavors. The player is standards-compliant, is skinnable, and comes with good documentation and developer support.

This video player is populated using an RSS feed from CLA's MediaMill. The playlist, thumbnails, video content, and metadata is loaded at runtime and displayed using the Flash player. The MP4 format is used to enable compatability with iTunes. NOTE: currently MP4 playback is broken in IE7.

Media Mill is a project launched by the CLA Office of Information Technology (CLA-OIT) to archive and distribute video and audio content.

The prototype multiplayer was developed by the CCE New Media Group

I think this relates well to where we need to go with our upcoming CCE web re-design. That is, we need to move toward the notion of one item per URL -- one concept per entry -- rather than packing more and more items into "pages".
