In June, six future journalists donned Kevlar helmets and spent a week producing stories while embedded with Minnesota National Guard soldiers during training exercises. Two of the students and the National Guard battalion commander involved in this experience will speak at a public event from noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 16 at the Humphrey Center. The students will also screen video news reports produced by their team.
