A great public space plays host to a conversation on modern-day democracy
Harry Boyte will talk about "Democracy's Rebirth: Adapting America's Founding Ideals for the Information Age," at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, at the Minneapolis Central Library (300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis). The library is hosting this talk in connection with their exhibit "Alexander Hamilton: The Man Who Made Modern America."
If you're not familiar with the Minneapolis Central Library, it was "designed to reflect residents' civic pride and deep commitment to education and literacy." The library translates this commitment into access - to computers and its collections, to meeting space, and to documents and books in multiple languages.
