The Social Justice Leadership Retreat
The Social Justice Leadership Retreat: Sharing in a Social Justice Journey provides an amazing and unique forum for students to hold open dialogue about issues of cultural pluralism and social justice. 56 students and 18 facilitators take a 3-day retreat to embark on a group journey to explore their individual and group identities, how those identities are impacted by social injustice and oppression, and what steps can be taken to address injustice on campus and other communities.
If you are someone who believes in a safe and inclusive campus, enjoys meeting new people, is comfortable sharing and listening to stories, and is looking for powerful experiences that will last a lifetime, then this retreat is for you!
2007-08 retreat dates are November 9-11 and January 19-21.
