Design Competition Addresses Water Preservation Challenges

Metropolis magazine is challenging young designers to apply their talents to responding to the urgent, worldwide need to save and protect the earth's water supply. It has issued its call for entries for the 2008 Metropolis Next Generation® Design Competition, the prestigious award program that supports and showcases young professionals' outstanding design innovations. This year, the worldwide competition asks those who design interiors, buildings, products, landscapes and other aspects of the man-made environment to consider water in all of its forms -- pure, gray, black -- and our many points of contact with it. Winning design will be awarded $10,000.

Entry deadline: January 4, 2008
