Slams! Exploring Digital Fabrication

The Goldstein Museum of Design and the HGA Gallery will host a design presentation and panel discussion exploring digital fabrication methods. The panel includes:
Rob Tickle: Industrial Art & Design: digital and non-digital fabrication.
Dianne Goodwin: BlueSky Designs: product design.
Merick Reed: Carbon Collaborative, Inc.: installation design.
Karl Frankowski: Worrell,Inc.: product design/graphic design.
All four designers will talk about their work, followed by a panel discussion on the topic of digital fabrication, prototyping, and design process. It will be a great opportunity for faculty and students to engage in a discussion with these four innovative designers, on topics such as the effects of digital fabrication on the design process, digital fabrication resources in the Twin Cities, and more.
