Green Shorts: An Environmental Film & Video Contest

Open Call for Submissions
Deadline April 11th, 2008

The Sustainability Studies Minor and The Bell Museum of Natural History invite filmmakers of all ages and levels of experience to create a short film or video that addresses sustainability and environmental issues. How do you or the people in your community interact with the environment? Is there a better way?

They are accepting films from both established and first-time filmmakers. By competing in the Green Shorts Film & Video Contest you will have the opportunity to make a statement about an issue that is important to you, to promote a solution to a current problem, and/or to create a vision for a sustainable tomorrow.

Top films selected by jury will be screened at the Bell Museum on April 25th as part of the Seeing Climate Change Film Festival. Prizes will be awarded for best film or video, best film or video from a first-time filmmaker, best student film and audience choice.
