Leading Edge Student Design Competition

Open To: Currently enrolled College and University architecture students
Awards: $15,000 total

The 2007-08 Leading Edge Student Design Competition is in full swing, and there’s still plenty of time to register!

This year’s competition is sited in the coastal environment of Southern California on the campus of the University of Santa Barbara. Students entering Challenge 1 (3rd -, 4th -year and graduate level students) will design an Environment and History Center serving dual roles of research and education about the environment and history of the local area. Students entering Challenge 2 (1st - and 2nd -year students) will design a three-unit townhouse-style residence for student equestrians with horses on site.
