Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program Information Sessions

Monday, February 4, 12:15 – 1:00 p.m., 225 Rapson Hall
Tuesday, February 12, 12:15 – 1:00 p.m., 22 McNeal Hall

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers a stipend (up to $1400) and/or an expense allowance (up to $300) to undergraduates for research, scholarly, or creative projects undertaken in partnership with a faculty member.

These two information sessions are geared specifically for College of Design undergraduate students. A representative from the central UROP office will meet with students to describe application procedures, discuss the steps in setting up a UROP experience, and analyze what makes a good proposal. Sample proposals and application materials will be available. College specific UROP information will also be distributed.

Next UROP Deadline: Monday, March 3, 2008 for summer 2008 and fall 2008 projects
