Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs Info Session

Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM

You are invited to an information session to learn more about graduate programs in Public Policy, Science Technology and Environmental Policy and Urban and Regional Planning.

Faculty, staff and current Humphrey students will provide information and answer questions about these degree programs, as well as our dual degree programs with the schools of Law, Social Work, Public Health, Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering.

Join us as we visit Spunk Design Machine and Studio on Fire, two local graphic design firms. We will hear from several designers at each firm, get a tour of their work space, and see samples of different projects.

10:00-11:00 a.m. -- Spunk Design Machine
11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. -- Design on Fire

Learn more about the Master of Public Policy (MPP) Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) programs at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.

The MPP-STEP program prepares students with any undergraduate background to assume roles in public policy development, implementation, management, and leadership. MS and MPP-STEP graduates have a wealth of job opportunities available to them, and graduates end up in state and federal government, business, and non-profit policy positions.

Faculty, current students, and admissions staff will speak briefly and answer questions.
Beverages and pizza will be served.
