It's clear that that networking is key in landing any professional position. College is a critical time to build and maintain different type of networks. Today I had the opportunity to attend a "Diversity Networking and Scholarship Event" hosted by the Office of Equity and Diversity and University Career Services. It was held in the University Minneapolis Hotel (formerly the Radisson University Hotel). My main intention was to connect with recruiters from global companies, such as Cargill and General Mills.
