American Family Insurance Education Internship

The Education Division of American Family Insurance is pleased to announce
that we are hiring two interns for Summer 2010!

The Education Division Internships will impact the division's strategic
initiatives by:

.         Creating assessments to evaluate the impact a learning event has
on performance;

.         Helping employees, agents and staff develop knowledge and skills
to enhance their business and align to the strategic plan; and

.         Promoting and demonstrating the impact of Human Performance
Improvement, Performance Based Learning and 4MAT


An internship with the Education Division at American Family Insurance will
provide the following for the intern:

.     Job experience; meaningful work assignments related to field of study
and major

.     Exposure to real-world scenarios in the workplace

.     Professional, social and volunteer activities for networking

.     Commitment and assignment management

.     Recruiting, assessment and selection experience

.     Orientation and assimilation

.     Pre-assessment to identify strengths and opportunities

.     Career development and performance management

.     Mentoring and coaching; training and development

It will benefit the Education Division at American Family Insurance through:

.     Establishing a pipeline of quality candidates to fill entry-level

.     Sourcing fresh and diverse talent for new insight, ideas and latest
industry trends

.     Selecting, training and influencing the best and brightest

.     Gaining early exposure to future corporate leaders

.     Advocating for American Family for recruiting other students (brand

.     Helping with necessary key projects (part-time/short-term hiring)

.     Improving efficiency, morale and motivation

.     Promoting community involvement and public relations

.     Maintaining important connections with colleges

.     Increasing skills of current staff through mentoring

.     Evaluating and screening students prior to making a full-time offer

.     Onboarding at a rapid pace into full-time positions (shorter learning
