Bridge to Academic Excellence Job Opportunity

Bridge to Academic Excellence now is accepting applicants for the Summer 2010 academic and residential program. This program is a 6-week summer program for recent high school graduates attending the University in the Fall. The goal is to help students become both academically and socially prepared for the rigors of college life.

They are hiring for the following positions:
-Peer Mentors (full time, residential): Serve as a group leader and role model, plan activities, assist with academics and work in a team to make the summer program a success. Live in the residence hall with participants.
-Teaching Assistants (part time, non residential): Attend classes with students, lead discussions, develop supplemental curriculum, and assist with student academic intervention. Preference will be given to graduate students.
