Josh Blue Performance Sponsored by the Disabled Student Cultural Center
The Disabled Student Cultural Center and Spring Jam are sponsoring a
performance by Josh Blue, hilarious standup comedian with a disability. Josh
has been a winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and a regular guest on
Comedy Central's as well as a stellar U.S. Paralympic Soccer player -
refusing to bow to any of the challenges that come from living with Cerebral
Palsy.
Josh uses his incredible sense of humor and versatile persona to defy
stereotypes and encourage others to overcome their preconceived notions
about people who are considered "disabled." Blue jokes, "I realize that
people are going to stare so I want to give them something to stare at."
The performance is in the Great Hall in Coffman Union on Thursday, April 22
at 7 PM. ASL interpreted.
