Work-study Positions with the Community Service-Learning Center (CSLC)
The Community Service-Learning Center is currently seeking Peer Advisors to work with the Community Engagement Scholars Program, advise students seeking volunteer opportunities, and support service-learning courses. This is a great position for students looking to expand their experience with and knowledge of non-profit organizations in the Twin Cities. Students in these positions also gain extensive skills in advising their peers, leading reflection and training sessions, and program development. Positions are approximately 10 hours per week and applicants must have work-study.

The Office of Equity and Diversity (OED) on campus are pleased to announce that OED is once again offering the Scholarly Excellence in Equity and Diversity (SEED) Awards to our undergraduate students. The SEED Awards is now open and accepting applications. The deadline to apply is Monday, Sept 27th, 2010 at 430pm. The SEED Award will be presented at our Equity and Diversity Breakfast event taking place on November 18th, 2010 in the McNamara Alumni Center on the U of M-TC campus from 7:30am-9:30am.

This free, University-wide event provides students the opportunity to speak with representatives from law, business, education, health sciences and a variety of other graduate and professional programs. The event will also feature helpful workshops on "How to Apply" and "Funding Graduate and Professional School." This annual event is coordinated by CLA Career Services.
