Administrative Specialist in Clinical Services Position

Admin Specialist 3-Clinical Services
Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri working in two different work locations
$15.42 - $17.14
Program: Children and Family Services
Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to program managers and staff. Coordinate client appointment process. Open, schedule and close clients. Complete communications and administrative tasks in an efficient and quality conscious manner. Serve as primary contact for the Southeast Asian Services Adult Programs. Act as second point of contact for other Children and Family Services programs. Answer phones and route calls to appropriate program staff and take messages. Greet clients and visitors in a courteous manner and direct them as appropriate. Check in clients for appointments. Maintain knowledge of programs, policies and community resources and provide information to clients and the public as needed. Distribute bus passes and receive client copays and document as required. Manage program databases. Manage staff calendars and schedule meetings. Bilingual Staff will Interact with clients by speaking English and/or Hmong, or Cambodian explain documents/information to clients with marginal English language skills, as needed.
Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of administrative/clerical experience required. Experience working in a social services/mental health/clinical setting preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-mail and other software as required. Intermediate typing skills, preferred. Excellent knowledge of office procedures and English composition/grammar. Ability to compose and edit text. Good communication skills to deal effectively with the public. Must be flexible and able to work within a diverse team and adapt to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. Ability to work independently, manage time well, perform a variety of tasks and problem solve
Good proofreading skills. Must be bilingual in Hmong, Cambodian.
