Rock Star Supply Co. Tutoring Opportunity

Are you a Rock Star? Do you play air drums on your steering wheel as you crank your stereo to 11?

Do you also want to have an impact on a teenager's life and to enrich your own along the way?

Rock Star Supply Co. (rockstarsupplyco.org) recruits and places volunteers in one-on-one and one-on-some tutoring positions in reading, math, and study skills classrooms in St. Paul high schools. Students in these teacher-supervised classrooms are seeking dynamic "grown-ups" that can help them with their homework and build skills that will help them succeed through graduation and beyond.

We have tutoring opportunities Monday through Friday at various times during the day. We also provide orientation prior to tutoring, as well as ongoing content support for tutors (in case your algebra skills aren't quite up to snuff).

To get started, contact our Rock Star volunteer coordinator, Maria Cocchiarella, at maria.cocchiarella@gmail.com. She'll let you know about upcoming orientations and help you find a "jam session" that fits your schedule.
