Professional Practice Seminar: Teacher Licensure & Job Search

Friday, January 28, 2011
10:30am-12:00pm
Location: TBD

Teaching license, new license testing requirements, resume, cover letter, portfolios, letters of recommendation, applications, interviews - yes, applying for your teaching license & navigating the teacher job search can be pretty overwhelming! How do I apply for a teaching license? Will the new license testing requirements affect me? What can I do to stand out during the job search?

Receive answers to these questions and more. Hear from Shuji Asai, CEHD teacher license officer, and Sarah Covert, CEHD Career Coordinator, to learn more about the teacher licensure process (including new license testing information) and strategies for a successful teacher job search. Handouts and resources will be provided.
Join us for this very informative session!
