Emporia State University Professor position

Emporia State University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, tenure-track position in the Department of Early Childhood/Elementary Teacher Education. Requirements: PhD or equivalent in Early Childhood Special Education or Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Early Childhood preferred. Full time tenure track position teaching in Early Childhood Unified program that leads to teaching license Birth - age 8 and Birth - age 5.

The successful candidate will have experience with functional assessment of infants and young children and a minimum of three years experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and families of children from birth to age 5; will possess knowledge of SPED laws and regulations, Early Intervention; Infant Mental Health, and adult learning theory, and Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment. Experience in college level online teaching is preferred. The successful candidate will advise graduate students in the ECU program and be active in scholarly activity in addition to teaching duties. Summer school teaching will be available.
