SharePoint/Net Developer with the Minnesota Twins

SharePoint/.Net Developer
JOB FUNCTION: Evolves business process by developing and maintaining business dependent data applications through SharePoint and .Net based solutions. Cross trains with Technology Department members to support peripheral technologies and rotates on call needs. Integrates with key members of supported departments to ensure that custom applications within the SharePoint framework are focused.

-Analyzes, develops, and maintains strategic computer applications, procedures, and other systems that advance the needs and goals of the organization. Develops the business case for solutions to determined needs.
-Defines and develops custom applications within the SharePoint framework. Develops and consumes new or existing Web Services to integrate back-end systems with SharePoint Portal.
-Analyzes problems, determines cause and initiates corrective action for any responsibility of the Technology Department.
-Develops clear and concise documentation and instruction manuals that details business process and procedures delivered through applications. Uses formal project management documentation skills to Technology Department projects.
-Plans for and provides in-service and other forms of continuing education of software and hardware to users.
-Coordinates and installs new software applications for all departments.
-Stays current with technology through seminars, education opportunities, trade magazine etc. Proactively contributes to the overall technology vision of the organization.
-Shares on-call and Twins event support duties with other individuals within the Technology Department.
-Is assigned miscellaneous duties to balance the Technology Department's work load.

-4 Year Bachelor's degree in Technology or equivalent
-2+ years of hands-on development experience with SharePoint, .NET Framework, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio 2010, C#, ASP.Net, XML, HTML, JavaScript
-Proficient with Microsoft SQL Database management and schema design·
-Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS
-Excellent general computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.·
-Strong time and project management skills·
-Strong Ability to communicate effectively
-Strong Ability to coordinate multiple duties simultaneously in a team environment
-Ability to independently solve technology related-issues
-2+ years experience in Information Technology.
-Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
