Internships and Volunteer Positions @ YouthLink, Home of the Youth Opportunity Center!

YouthLink, Home of the Youth Opportunity Center is looking for volunteers and interns! There are several opportunities available, some have very short commitments of an orientation and a 1-day event, and others have commitments of up to 1 year. We are looking for people who have a passion for homeless youth, life experience or education related to the field, and those who have faith and dedication to making a true difference in the lives of others. The experience that one has at YouthLink is impactful bi-directionally and life changing. The community members that work with us contribute to the lives of the youth that call this place home and the youth give of themselves in the purist form that they know how, by simply being themselves.

The Youth Opportunity Center offers inspiring opportunities to give young people the chance they deserve in life. Broad and meaningful services are now available under one roof. With this combination of services working together for increased efficiency and effectiveness, we are united in our efforts to support young people on their journey to self-sufficiency, stability, empowerment and community connectedness. The Youth Opportunity Center collaborative model is organized around four centers of excellence: crisis intervention and basic needs, education and employment, health and wellness and housing stability. We've also included an opportunity for creative expression through the arts. We believe all of this creates a springboard for systemic change.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering or interning with YouthLink is required to attend a upcoming volunteer orientation. The orientation will be on Wednesday, March 16th from 5:30-6:30 pm. We will talk about the services YouthLink provides, our available volunteer and internship positions for individuals and groups, take a tour of the building and leave time to fill out volunteer applications. If you plan to attend this orientation or one in the future, please RSVP to Jenny Lock at or (612) 252-1211 by Monday, March 14th.
