Work Experience Coordinator for Adult Students

Volunteer position:
Help motivated adult students gain job skills and work experience. Coordinate GED and adult ESL students completing 9-week job assignments at their school. The coordinator's time commitment is 1-2 hours per week in the morning or very early afternoon, T or Th. A 12-week minimum time commitment is needed.

Duties:
-Talk with of 3-6 students about job placement and expectations.
-Receive feedback from the job supervisor as to how the student is doing.
-Talk with student each week about how the job is going. Mentor as needed.
-Keep the project manager informed as to how things are progressing.

The jobs begin in April. Students are applying for them right now. So, we welcome you to inquire as soon as possible. The current staff coordinator of this pilot project will train you in to take over her job.
