Science Museum of Minnesota Early Childhood Science Intern

Become an Early Childhood Science Intern
At the Science Museum of Minnesota

Talent Resources Division - Volunteer Department.
10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities: Develop and manage the Museum's Preschool Playdates program, targeting preschool visitors and their parents or caregivers in early childhood science experiences. Capture and format existing early childhood science activities through an engaging and uniform medium. Create a training program for volunteers who provide the Playdates program.

Requirements: College undergraduate or graduate status required, prefer experience in Early Childhood Education, Developmental Psychology or Nonprofit Management. Enthusiasm working with young children and their families. Love of ongoing learning and a curiosity about the world around them. Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with a wide variety of people of all ages preferred. Well-organized, detail oriented, creative and resourceful, with strong problem solving skills. Familiarity with MS Office.

Pay: Unpaid.
