Come to this informational session and meet Scott Magnuson, alum of the Department of Political Science and the Director of the Minnesota State Senate Information Office. Scott will provide details about internship opportunities with Minnesota State senators during the upcoming 2012 legislative session which begins spring semester. Student interns will work at the State Capitol Building in St. Paul and learn the ins and outs of how the Minnesota State legislature functions. Internship applications will be available at the session. Professor Paul Soper, Internship Director for the Department of Political Science, will also be at the session to explain how students may receive academic credit for this internship and other political science related internships.
