Travel Consultants or Agents assist customers in planning the perfect trip or vacation. Being a Travel Consultant may include researching different locales around the world to find the perfect vacation spot for your client. It could also include shopping for the best discount rate on flights and resorts or reserving exciting activites or excursions for your clients to enjoy once they reach their location. This is an especially terrific career for detail oriented individuals who enjoy planning ahead. It also involves a great deal of customer service and contact with others whether it be in-person, on the phone, or via the internet.
