Career of the Week: Human Resources Generalist

Are you outgoing and interested in gaining recruiting skills? Do you enjoy training others on new materials or ideas? Do you enjoy meeting new people and evaluating their strengths? If so, you may want to consider a career as a Human Resources Generalist!

Employers hire Human Resources Generalists to perform a number of tasks including recruitment, interviewing, and employment related training. Most employers are looking for candidates with Bachelor's Degrees in Human Resource Development as well as experiences within that field. The Occupational Handbook projects that Human Resources Generalist positions will grow by 21% by 2020, much faster than other career areas! If interested, look at GoldPASS and the CEHD Career Services site for more info!
