Family therapy program is based on a generalist educational philosophy which presumes that competency as a generalist is a prerequisite for the future development of expertise as a specialist and for adopting diverse leadership and professional roles. The therapy program offers therapeutic counseling for children and their families/caregivers that who are experiencing relationship difficulties. The aim of the marriage and family therapy program is to develop clinicians who are prepared to function on an independent level as marital and family therapists. The therapy program is comprised of two tracks, mental health and clergy. The program has special strengths in the area of couple and sex therapy with an offering of three courses in this area.
