Helping at-risk families attain stability
A five-year project aimed at helping at-risk families attain long-term stability against often formidable odds came to an end on May 30. The project, directed by Bill Doherty, Ph.D., Family Social Science professor, was featured in an article in the Star Tribune. The federally and state-funded "Minnesota Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood Initiative" studied unmarried couples with children. The goal was to help the couples develop the skills to keep their families intact. Read more in the Star Tribune.
