Tutoring

Last week, I began volunteer work at two different schools in St. Paul. Two days a week, I help out in a third grade classroom at St. Anthony Park Elementary. One day a week, I do one-on-one tutoring with a 6th grader at Murray Jr. High School. I knew it would be challenging to be tutoring 5 hours a week while fitting in time for homework, but I already think that it is completely worth it. 
Being around third graders is my favorite part of the week. They are so fun, and always ask me for help. It also reminds me of what I can look forward to after college as I am hoping to teach second or third grade.
