Over the weekend, I went to Lacrosse, Wisconsin for Oktoberfest. It is an annual event that occurs at the end of September to celebrate Autumn. I have friends who live there so I was really excited to be able to see them. On Saturday we went to the annual Oktoberfest parade. The weather was perfect and surprisingly warm for the end of September in Wisconsin. It was a very fun trip and really got me looking forward to the rest of fall. Carving pumpkins, making carmeled apples, haunted houses, and corn mazes are only a few among the list of things I plan to do this fall. Unfortunately now that the weekend is over, I have to get back to studying for midterms, which always remain on the top of my to-do list.
