Ji quoted in Esquire on high-intensity interval training

Dr. Ji.jpgThe November edition of Esquire features a story on the benefits of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which involves intense spurts of activity for short periods of time followed by rest. Dr. Li Li Ji, exercise physiology professor and director of the School of Kinesiology, was quoted in the article about the advantages of HIIT in boosting metabolism, which has the effect of burning calories for hours after the exercise session is over.
