Konczak invited to participate in NIH taskforce on childhood motor disorders
Dr. Juergen Konczak, Kinesiology professor of biomechanics, has been invited to join a prestigious national task force to study motor disorders in children. The NIH Taskforce on Childhood Motor Disorders will be held February 2-4, 2012, at the National Institutes of Health Neuroscience Center in Rockville, Maryland. Experts and scholars from around the country will meet with the goal of making concrete progress toward developing new technologies and methods for diagnosis and quantification of motor disorders in children. The meeting will be structured around seven working groups of 6-8 experts, with each group focusing on a specific area of need.
