OLPD 3202 first course at the University to be Quality Matters' certified
OLPD 3202, Introduction to Strategies for Teaching Adults, taught by lecturer Cynthia Digby in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development, passed the rigorous process for Quality Matters' certification in December. Quality Matters (QM) created a rubric and peer-review process designed specifically to certify the quality of online and blended courses. OLPD 3202 is the first course at the University to be QM assessed. As part of this process, the University's Office of Distributed Education and Instructional Technology provided training funding for Digby to become Quality Matters' rubric and Quality Matters' Peer-Review Certified.
