Shumer named Inaugural Fellow of the National Dropout Prevention Center at Clemson University

image Shumer.jpgRobert Shumer, Ph.D., lecturer in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD), has been named an inaugural fellow of the National Dropout Prevention Center (NDPC) at Clemson University. The fellows will help the center and the NDPC in their missions to increase high school graduation rates through research and evidence-based solutions.

Shumer's responsibility is to develop proposals/projects to fund joint efforts between various Network partners to support research and implementation of programs involving important dropout prevention strategies, such as career and technical education, service-learning, and civic engagement.
