CEHD academic adviser leads global seminar in New Zealand
During May session, CEHD academic adviser Mark Bellcourt led six University students on a global seminar to New Zealand. Students learned about New Zealand's indigenous Maori community, the economics of the region, and diverse philosophies within and between the Maori and descendents of the European colonialists. Each student created digital stories of the trip; click here to view elementary education student Jennifer Lockhart's digital story.
Bellcourt has also led global seminars in Mexico's Yucutan Peninsula, which explored how tourism has impacted the region's environment.
