Bartlett receives UCWHRE's inaugural Nexus Award
The University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education has selected the paper A Theoretical Review of the Signaling Role of Certification in Career and Technical Education by Ken Bartlett, professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD) and associate dean for graduate, professional, and international programs in the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), for an inaugural Nexus Award.
The Nexus Award has been implemented by the Council to recognize and encourage high-quality papers that illustrate through its data, theoretical approach, or methodology the connection between CTE and HRD. This year's award will be the first for the Nexus, and will be presented at the upcoming Association for Career and Technical Education Research (ACTER) award ceremony.
