Wiese-Bjornstal presenting at Mayo Clinic Symposium on Concussion in Sport

Wiese-Bjornstal-2011.jpgDr. Diane Wiese-Bjornstal, associate professor of sport psychology, is giving an invited presentation at the Mayo Clinic Symposium on Concussion in Sport in Scottsdale, Arizona, on September 28. The title of her talk is "Female Athlete Concussions." This state-of-the-art, two-day symposium highlights the epidemiology of concussion in sport; the pathophysiology of concussion; sideline and outpatient clinical evaluation; standard and novel diagnostic strategies; and implementation of return-to-activity guidelines.
