Jessamay Thompson, graduate student in social studies education in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction, has received a full scholarship from the Organization of American States (OAS) to participate in an online professional development course entitled "Evaluation of Policies and Programs in Education for Democratic Citizenship - First Edition." Jessamay's areas of expertise include civic education (with a special interest in Latin America) and evaluation studies.
