Cicchetti lauded by APS and SRCD for receipt of the 2012 Klaus J. Jacobs Research Award

Dante Cicchetti
In its January 2013 newsletter, the Society for Research in Child Development's (SRCD) executive director Lonnie Sherrod describes the Klaus J. Jacobs Research Award as the "Nobel Prize of developmental science" and commends award-winner Dante Cicchetti, McKnight Presidential Chair, William Harris Professor of Child Development and Psychiatry, for his "lifelong commitment to understanding resilience." Sherrod goes on to say of Cicchetti's work: "His research combines theory and empirical studies in psychosocial behaviors, neurobiology and genetics, thereby bringing a multilevel analysis and multidisciplinary perspective to the topic, and providing a model for exemplary developmental science."
