The proposed project would foster a team-based learning environment by creating online case studies intended to allow teams of learners to apply in class what they have learned from the online modules. Cross-team critique and feedback can occur in the technology-rich physical space of the Active Learning Classroom (there are currently two ALCs on the Twin Cities campus).

This original project proposal was focused on development of a hybrid course for FSoS graduate students. During the process of project planning and needs assessment the vision for this project changed into developing a multidisciplinary learning object to practice the 6 levels of critical thinking and advance different areas of literacy. This learning object will be integrated into courses and programs across CEHD departments and U of MN colleges.
