Educational Background: “I graduated in 2008 from the University of Minnesota-Twins Cities, where I majored in Art and minored in Sociology. I am currently applying to several graduate programs in the area for Special Education.”

Why I serve with MRC: “I decided to serve a year with MRC for several reasons. The most important reason is because I was interested in going to graduate school for Education, and I wanted the opportunity to have hands-on experience working with children on a daily basis in a school setting before making a final decision. Another reason I chose MRC specifically is because I had been a reading tutor in the St. Paul Public School District while in college, and I knew that there was a great need for children to receive extra help with their literacy skills.”
