Description
On
Friday, September 11, 2009, CFANS OIT will begin the installation of Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.32.18 for CFANS computer systems in the Administration and Student Services offices that do not have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. On
Friday, September 18, 2009, the update will be deployed to the rest of the CFANS community.
Process
Adobe Flash player will be updated via group policy/login script. The installation will occur in the background when users log on to their systems. There should be no interruption to service.
Explanation
Updating to Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.32.18 will address a number of bugs that are present in Adobe Flash Player 9.0.159.0 and 10.0.22.87 and earlier 9.x and 10.x versions.
