One of the most important things to know about the Community Fund Drive is that there are many ways to give back to our communities. Monetary donations, no matter the size, make a huge difference to charitable organizations, but there are other ways to help. Throughout the month of October, the Libraries are showcasing our community of caring by collecting toiletries for Wayside House. Acceptable items include new/unopened shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gels, bath puffs, deodorant, lotion, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Donation stations are set up in the staff lounges of Wilson, Walter, and Magrath Libraries. Please consider making a contribution!

The first of our three CFD pizza parties is happening this Thursday. All University Libraries staff are invited. Here are the details:
When: Thursday, Oct. 11th, 11:30am - 1:00pm
Where: Room 120, Elmer L. Andersen Library
What will be there: Pizza from and beverages from Pizza Luce, information about participating in the Community Fund Drive, a computer so you can donate on site.
What to bring (not required): New/unopened toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gels, bath puffs, deodorant, lotion, toothbrushes, and toothpaste) to donate to Wayside House.
