  These titanium bracelets are very similar to the Powerbalance bracelets. I think that the majority of people that wear these benefit from a "placebo" type effect. I agree that these companies most likely made an error and assumed that the results they received were correlated with the bracelets. There should be a disclaimer on these products before people spend their money on them....

  I think their are a lot of factors that play into this show. The sheer proximity these people share for 8 weeks probably contributes to a lot of their affection for each other. Also, the reciprocity is common as well, as you mentioned. I don't typically watch these shows, but it's interesting to see how we can use our Psych1001 course to evaluate this show!...

  I learned a lot through this course. The classical conditioning was an interesting topic for me as well. People are very innocent to receive many stimulus and create their response. But if we learn about this, we can be aware of happenings everyday. Good luck on majoring biology! The biological psychology section was hard for me.....

  Although you said that the show is ridiculous, I want to see it! According to the main thing you talk about I feel it is interesting:) You analysis the show in a psychology way, and I think what you said is ture, eapecially the things about thrill seeking. The show is a good prove about thrill seeking....

  I've often wondered about their study methods after seeing many of my friends fall victim to the marketing claims. Obviously there are no adverse effects to wearing these so I feel no moral obligation to bust their bubbles, but I've been suspicious. As a serious athlete myself, I am convinced that performance is a mixture of training and (mostly) mindset. There's truth to the saying, "it's all in your head."...
