Posted And....This is the End? to EDHD 3100 - South Africa: Tracing the Footsteps of Social Change 2010/11
Today is the last day of our journey in Cape Town, right now, I have a mixed range of emotions. What I know is that I couldn't have asked for a better experience and location to learn about social justice. This trip has opened my eyes in so many ways that I know I have been changed for the better. Previous to this trip, I was naive about issues locally and globally. Group 3 began our journey in Minneapolis on December 27th, our flight left at 7:35 and all 7 of us girls knew that we had long travel time before we would arrive at our destination in Cape Town. I have personally never flown before so I knew that this experience would be a little different for me than others. However, we all stuck together and ended up...
