  The experiment with German and Spanish descriptions of the key are very interesting. I would make the same notion toward the US where we always name ships a feminine name and refer to cars as females. My question is where did this get started? Maybe because all things come from Mother Earth that things are refereed as females.   This whole piece on flashbulb memories was shocking to me as well. I had always assumed that if something was super important or life-changing, why wouldn't your memory hold on to it better? You would think it's common sense and it's something that I never questioned. It's starting to make me question my childhood, actually....

  Eminem was the right person to promote this commercial. He has gone through changes to seem more sophisticated in recent years and that's what Chrysler was trying to say about their own company. Also Detroit is trying to rebuild it's image of the old power house the city was. This combination makes this commercial very persuasive to buy a car. Advertisers used classical conditioning with Eminem (new image) as the controlled stimulus to make people who buy Chrysler feel like they are changing to more of a sophisticated image when driving the car. I just love Eminem too....

  Alzheimer disease runs in my friends family so I've seen the effects it has on a person, and it's tragic. Having someone you love not even able to recall your name would be an awfully sad thing. I know people who have smoked weed out of a can, which has been linked to AD, and they don't understand the consequences it will have later in there life and on others lives as well. Its a terrible disease, I hope technology allows us to correct the effects of it soon....

  While the theme of this riveting ad may be one of pride, it's hard to ignore the grim images of I-75 and the billowing smokestacks that convey the decline of Detroit, a once proud and great city with a strong history of industry and manufacturing that hopes for a better future....
