  I believe that some movies like Memento, The Vow, and the Notebook are simply created to entertain an audience and should not be criticized for doing so. However, I believe that movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind were created, not to undermine the seriousness of diseases such as Alzheimer's or people who suffer or have suffered from amnesia, but to simply explore the possibilities of the human memory that have not been explored yet.   Wow! That is crazy. Thanks for sharing the video. When closing your eyes while listening to it, it really does make it come alive. So strange. I have gone to many 3D shows before, but have never experienced this "3D auditory."...

  I think that we have definitely romanticized how devastating memory loss is! I have never really given it much thought but, we really do put a rose colored lens on movies that have to deal with memory loss or amnesia. I am not sure I would go so far as to say we are being callous or forgetting how painful memory loss is but I think that we make movies about the hardest things in life and this would be high on any list of something that is hard to deal with. I think that they have made these movies...

  As an owner of 2 cats and an avid animal lover I know that animals communicate. I do not always knew what every click from my cats means when they are watching birds from the window but, I know that they mean something to them. I have one cat that gets sick every other month or so. When he is sick and can't keep food down all he wants to do is sit on my lap and be next to me at all times. When he is feeling better you can't pin him down. My cats even have different meows....

  Unfortunately, we tend to lean (no pun intended) to any quick fix that promises weight loss without much effort. Being that America is considered one of the fattest countries in the world, it’s no surprise to me that there are these “miracle diets”, consisting of fat-burning drinks and pills advertised all over in our televisions, billboards, buses and magazines. The American society prizes thin, toned stomachs and muscular arms making it hard for us to strive to be anything other. Falling victim to any of these claims is inevitable for many of us....
