Thomas Meyer (B Arch, '74), FAIA, founder of the Minneapolis-based architecture firm MS&R Architects (Meyer, Scherer and Rockcastle, Ltd.), was honored late last week with the University of Minnesota Alumni Service Award at the annual Alumni Awards Celebration. The award recognizes Meyer's 30-plus years of service to the University, College of Design, and School of Architecture. At the ceremony, Meyer spoke eloquently on his affinity for the school through his experiences as a student, architect, teacher and adviser: It is said that "Architecture is a continuing dialogue between generations."
