Midtown, Minneapolis

There is a major difference between knowing the place by driving and walking. The first time I drove through Midtown on Lake Street, my first impression was: It's not too bad, doesn't look dangerous. But my opinion changed after I walked around Midtown. I took the Hiawatha Light Rail Line to Midtown and it didn't feel too pleasant to be walking down Lake Street. Between the Hiawatha Line and 26th Avenue SE is very unpleasant because there is an ally way that runs behind the Target along highway and the ally leaves pedestrains vulnerable to being mugged. Also the traffic makes it difficult to cross during rush hour. Making the it inconvient to get to the railway station.

Sorry no pictures, I'll get some later but this will have to do for now.
