Today I called for EFM Validation for mostly 4.5 year olds. There was a new list so I called through all of the 4.5 year olds so far. I also called back a few families that had called us back, but I was only able to schedule a couple sessions. Some things I notice when I'm calling are possible errors such as "M" instead of "F" or numbers that may be entered incorrectly so families are unable to be reached. I wonder about how simple errors like these affects which families are reached. I also notice that although there is some diversity, a more diverse population of participants could give interesting results.

Great work on calling lately, Nicole! You are definitely helping to get the lab up to speed on running Validation subjects. In regards to these errors you are noticing in the call lists, do you mean that some female call list participants are labeled as 'M' male? If you happen to notice that in the future, would you please copy and paste that participant's info into the 'Changes to be Made' tab at the bottom of the xcel file. And about the phone numbers, are these technically wrong numbers or is the area code or something else incorrect? These are important details, so let me know when you notice them. Many thanks!
